With roots in large-scale networking, security, and information operations, I explore the grey areas between disciplines. My work bridges the gap between technical innovation and real-world applications, and fosters unexpected collaborations among a variety of interesting people and projects.

I have extensive experience in cryptocurrency security, analytics and regulation, including work at two successful startups.
I co-founded the non-profit DART Collective and served on the Board of the DEFCON AI Village.

I'm a former AAAS Public Engagement Fellow and Cyber Policy Initiative Fellow at the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy, where I created and taught a graduate class in "AI and Public Policy"

Prior to joining UIUC, I was an NSF Program Officer, ran global infrastructure teams in industry and academia, and served as a Marine Corps officer.
